My sojourn to Asia

I suddenly find myself at the age of 45 about to undertake the most significant life changing experience that I thought until now, I'd missed. Moving overseas has always been a dream however Singapore I must admit was not on my top 10 list of cities inwhich I'd love to live .. Paris will have to wait, for now. Infact, I've been trying to avoid living in Singapore for quite some time. You know, nice place to visit, but... It feels like over the last 6 months or so, the universe has been conspiring and with the planets all aligned, I've run out of excuses and finally taken the plunge - or was that a push? Whichever, I'm on my way.
I'm going to take myself on this journey and document it as best I can and for those who want to live vicariously through my experiences, you are more than welcome to come along for the ride. I welcome your comments and advice! You may be thinking about the 'next phase' of your life and what that means for you... if you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got... I plan to get something different!
I hope I can inspire anyone who may be of a similar age who is looking to change their life but who may be thinking it's too late...
Whilst I will be based in Singapore, I plan to explore and hopefully submerge myself in the Asian culture and live my life, not as an ex-pat but as a Singaporean and get to the cultural and spiritual heart of Asia, not just an Australian on tour!

10 weeks to go and counting......
